The Smith Westerns are an indie rock group from Chicago, Illinois. Many of the group's biggest supporters wondered if the band's 2009 self-titled debut was lightening in a bottle, considering they recorded most of Smith Westerns while still in high school. But back in January, the crew released their follow-up LP, Dye It Blonde, and to delight of their fans and critics, the young group hit the mark again.
