Bon Iver (pronounced "bohn eevair") is an indie-folk band founded by Wisconsinite, Justin Vernon. Bon Iver enjoyed early success with their 2007 debut album, For Emma, Forever Ago, which earned great acclaim across the music world and may be equally as famous for the story of wilderness seculusion that surrounds its creation. After a few side projects, such as Volcano Choir and Gayngs, Vernon is back with the band's much anticipated sophomore release, Bon Iver, Bon Iver, which is out today via Jagjaguwar.
